The photos are of our bare, un-dyed, Merino Cashmere Nylon yarn base. You can see the twist, and the structure of the yarn before it is dyed. We source this yarn from Wool2dye4, in Virginia. They are known, for their bare yarn selections, industry wide. Many dyers feel their yarn bases are too expensive. We feel our customers are worthy of the best we can give. We hope you agree.

Important things to know, if you order hand dyed yarns from The Yarn and Us:
- we kettle dye our yarns in small batches of 3 or 4.
- sweater quantity discounts on multiple skeins (3 or more) of the same color:
3 skeins, of the same color = 5% discount
4 or 5 skeins, of the same color = 10% discount
6 or 7 skeins, of the same color = 15% discount
8 or more, of the same color = 20% discount
